About Us
We are a technology development team made up of more than 40 professionals committed to the quality of the software, products, and services we offer our clients.
If you’re looking for a project or team focused on software quality and best practices, with a great work environment and colleagues from whom you can learn, have fun, and work side by side, you’ve found the perfect opportunity for you!
You can find us at: www.Secture.com
Our team and culture / Our crew & culture
We all come from tech backgrounds, so we’re used to working with agile, asynchronous methodologies and the freedom and flexibility that comes with them.
We work remotely from different parts of the country, but we actively foster our culture—from our daily stand-ups (with “ruinas” included), our random coffee breaks, talks, training sessions, in-person events, and let’s not even get started on our Discord channels…
In short, at Secture we take great care of our team, atmosphere, and culture; therefore, we’re looking for colleagues who seek the same things we actively foster.
What will you be doing in this role?
1st Month | Onboarding
We’ll sit down with you to explain the business, introduce you to the team, show you how we work and the tools we use, and provide everything you need during your first few days on the job.
Our tech team will teach you our tech stack; you’ll meet all team members and gain all the context needed to understand the project and the environment where you’ll be working.
You’ll likely join in the middle of a sprint. We start every day with a very relaxed team stand-up at 10 a.m. to briefly share how each of us is progressing on our projects, and then each team attends its own stand-up.
During this first month, both your development colleagues and our project managers will guide you and provide support with everything you need for the project you’ll be working on.
We communicate mainly via Discord, document in Drive and Notion, and use Meet for meetings. We also often work with Monday, Trello, and Jira, depending on the project.
Over the next few months
As you become more familiar with the project, the team, and the tech stack, you’ll be able to help estimate tasks and developments that help us prioritize the project backlog.
Some of the sprints will involve improvement work to optimize performance, refactor, eliminate legacy code, avoid bottlenecks, and ultimately improve future scalability.
We actively encourage our colleagues to contribute proposals and share their ideas without hesitation, whether they are improvements to existing developments or new features that could positively impact the projects you’ll be working on.
As mentioned above, we value teamwork, good communication, software quality, and best practices.
At Secture, we’re constantly growing, so we want you to become a pillar of the team and help us continue building our projects, team, and culture.
