Bilingual Vietnamese Psychiatrist

Role Overview

Apply psychiatric expertise and Vietnamese cultural knowledge to help improve AI systems through clinically grounded, bilingual training materials and evaluations. This remote contract role focuses on creating accurate, culturally nuanced mental health content. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and assess complex psychiatric case studies based on real-world, culturally nuanced scenarios.
• Conduct psychological assessments and provide expert annotations that reflect Vietnamese psychiatric practices and perspectives.
• Prepare clear clinical documentation and written analyses in Vietnamese and English, maintaining cultural and clinical accuracy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary AI project teams to strengthen model understanding of psychiatric concepts.
• Review and critique sensitive case content using sound ethical judgment, patient confidentiality, and professional best practices.
• Create bilingual communication frameworks that support accurate exchange of psychiatric information.
• Provide expert feedback on analytical evaluation methods used in AI mental health contexts.

Qualifications

• Medical degree, MD, MBBS, or equivalent, completed psychiatry residency, and a valid medical license.
• Native Vietnamese fluency and advanced English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Extensive experience with psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation in Vietnamese clinical settings.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, ethical decision-making, and analytical evaluation skills for complex mental health scenarios.
• Experience developing teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes.
• Experience working on interdisciplinary projects, preferably involving technology, research, or digital health.
• Familiarity with Western and Vietnamese psychiatric frameworks and a strong commitment to professional integrity.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• Project placement is subject to availability.

Compensation

$100 to $200 per hour.
