We are currently seeking a full-time Billing Manager as part of our Accounting Team. As a member of the Accounting team you will be responsible for all Invoicing for Time & Materials and Cost Plus Contracts throughout the company. This includes the timely and accurate creation of invoices, ensuring that all invoices have been sent to Clients, and any follow-up necessary within the company or with Clients.
The Billing Manager is expected to be a high-integrity performer who has a keen eye for detail, fosters a collaborative environment, and owns the Time & Materials and Cost Plus Invoicing matters of the company. This position is the manager for those working in the Time & Materials and Cost Plus Billing Department and is meant to manage daily workflow as well as look for ways to improve processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the team performing the monthly workflow for Invoicing for Time & Materials and Cost-Plus Contracts including:
- Review Employee Expenses.
- Incorporate Subcontractor Invoices.
- Ensure proper collection of Labor Costs.
- Create Cover Letters.
- Create any other supporting documentation.
- Create Invoices.
- Post Invoices in Unanet.
- Monitor that all Invoices are Sent.
- Ensure that all Invoices are Reviewed and Approved.
- Correspond with vendors and Clients.
- Month-end and year-end activities.
- Evaluate the Billing Procedures specific to the needs of the Organization.
- Participate in the development of a new ERP as a SME of the Billing Dept.
- For T&M and Cost-Plus Projects.
- Other duties may be assigned by the Controller or CFO.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of Billing experience.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients and vendors.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
- Ability to work well with the team and independently.
- Effectively provide change management where necessary.
Compensation is commensurate with experience within the pay band of $68,000 - $88,000
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
