Responsibilities
- Business Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable business requirements for the development team.
- Collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to prioritize features, functionality, and product backlog.
- Create detailed user stories, use cases, and process flows, ensuring that requirements are well-defined, feasible, and aligned with business goals.
- Support the team in analyzing and resolving any ambiguities or gaps in requirements during the development process.
- Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and improve business processes.
- Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Scrum Master for an Agile development team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help the team stay focused on goals, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement to increase team productivity and collaboration.
- Ensure that Agile principles and Scrum best practices are being adhered to, coaching and mentoring team members when necessary.
- Coordinate with product owners to ensure backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprint planning.
- Foster a culture of self-organization, accountability, and transparency within the team.
- Project Tracking and Reporting:
- Utilize Jira to manage and track project progress, sprint tasks, and issues, ensuring transparency and visibility for all stakeholders.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and deadlines.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring all parties are informed of project status, risks, and roadblocks.
- Analyze sprint metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Secret Clearance Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on software development projects.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years of leading Agile teams and ensuring successful sprint deliveries.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical application in software development projects.
