Position: Business Data Research Specialist

Job Location: Chennai (Base Location) / Remote

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

As a Business Data Research Specialist in our Operations team, you will play a crucial role in enriching our sales prospecting database. Your primary responsibility will be to research and identify key individuals within prospect companies that align with our predefined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). By leveraging tools like LinkedIn, Google search, and apollo.io, you will ensure our sales team is equipped with accurate and actionable data to engage with high-intent leads.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:

  • Identify and collect relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  • Ensure data collection processes adhere to best practices and standards.
  • Review and research job titles and personas from a daily list of high-intent prospect companies provided by our ABM marketing efforts

Data Cleaning and Preparation:

  • Clean, prepare, and transform raw data into a usable format for analysis.
  • Address data quality issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Regularly conduct data quality checks to maintain the integrity.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings effectively through reports and presentations.

Data Collection Tools:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data management and research
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of data collection tools
  • Ensure tools are effective and accurate for gathering the required data.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in data research, entry, and management, particularly in a sales or marketing context.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Sheets. Familiarity with LinkedIn, apollo.io, Sales Navigator, G2 and other research tools or platforms.
  • Detail-Oriented and Efficient: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to efficiently process large volumes of data.
  • Analytical Mindset: Capable of quickly understanding and aligning with the sales team's needs for prospecting data.
  • Collaborative and Adaptive: Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving marketing and sales strategies.
