This is a remote position.
Safar Staffing is seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to help identify, pursue, and secure corporate staffing contracts. The consultant will research qualified business opportunities, locate decision-makers, monitor RFPs, RFQs, vendor programs, and subcontracting opportunities, and support the full bidding and proposal process.
Responsibilities include assisting with corporate vendor registrations, developing outreach strategies, contacting procurement and human resources professionals, preparing proposals and bid responses, tracking deadlines and follow-ups, and providing regular progress reports.
The consultant will focus on opportunities involving warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, production, general labor, packaging, administrative support, facility support, temporary staffing, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire recruitment.
Applicants must have relevant experience in staffing sales, corporate business development, contract research, procurement, proposal writing, or vendor registration. A current résumé and detailed work-history profile showing relevant projects, clients, and contracts must be submitted with the application.
Requirements
Proven experience in corporate business development, staffing sales, procurement, or contract research
Experience identifying corporate staffing opportunities, RFPs, RFQs, vendor programs, and subcontracting opportunities
Knowledge of temporary staffing, temporary-to-hire, direct-hire, and workforce-services contracts
Ability to identify and verify procurement managers, HR leaders, operations managers, and other decision-makers
Experience with vendor registrations, supplier portals, VMS platforms, and corporate procurement systems
Strong proposal writing, bid preparation, research, communication, and follow-up skills
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, RFP databases, and lead-research tools
Ability to qualify opportunities based on staffing needs, deadlines, service requirements, and decision-maker access
Strong organization and recordkeeping skills for tracking contacts, deadlines, proposals, and follow-up activities
Ability to provide regular written progress reports
Experience helping staffing agencies secure corporate clients is strongly preferred
Must submit a current résumé and detailed work-history profile
Must provide examples of relevant clients, projects, proposals, or contracts previously supported
Must be available for an ongoing working relationship
Generic lead lists, duplicate contacts, outdated opportunities, and unverified leads will not be accepted
