Business Development Manager – Emerging Markets
As the Business Development Manager for emerging markets, you hold a strategic position in achieving the company's growth objectives. One of the growth objectives pertains to the battery sector, from mining to the transformation of active materials, cell manufacturing, and recycling. You stand out for your networking skills. Your knowledge of industrial process control and the market for consulting firms (EPC: Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) allows you to influence professional users and decision-makers, even when faced with high levels of difficulty. Your ability to promote the value of our high-quality offerings makes you a leading figure in the sale of engineering products, services, and solutions. You are known for building trustworthy business relationships and your talents and successes in pursuing significant projects. - You lead the development of high-quality offerings, including value-added offerings, technical solutions, pricing strategies, project schedules, and deliverables.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for Success:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial B2B market, including experience in pursuing major investment projects and working with consulting firms (EPC).
- Strong sales skills and experience in industrial applications.
- You have a business sense, understanding the ins and outs of a company's financial performance and using client information to develop your strategy.
- You master the sales process and apply methodologies at all stages to ensure you meet your objectives.
- You excel in defining pricing and margins in collaboration with team members and market information.
- You use and promote Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Curiosity and a commitment to learning about new technologies.
- People matter to you. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from your peers to improve.
- An analytical, problem-solving, and strategic mindset applicable to all project areas and issues.
- A customer-centered disposition, with clients and their needs as your priority.
- Communication skills, written and verbal, in French.
- Written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel without restrictions within the greater Montreal area and elsewhere in eastern Canada.
