Our 1streetworks cloud-based SaaS solution automates the production of traffic management plans, diversion routing and asset inventory lists. 1streetworks ensures the plans are compliant with the industry standard as identified in the "Red Book". Using 1streetworks our clients can significantly shorten the time, effort, and cost it takes to produce traffic management plans that are consistent and compliant.
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our dynamic 1streetworks team. The successful candidate will lead the company's sales efforts in the Critical Infrastructure Industry and play a key role in the growth of the organization.
As the Business Development Manager, you will use your understanding of the Critical Infrastructure & Utilities sectors to identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential clients, and manage the sales process from start to finish. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of developers, consultants, and engineers to create cutting-edge solutions that meet the unique needs of this industry.

You will be responsible for:
- Generating qualified leads and develop new business opportunities in the Highway, Utilities and Critical Infrastructure.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, including conducting face-to-face meetings and demonstrations.
- Developing sales strategies and proposals to meet the needs of customers and exceed revenue targets
- Managing the sales process, including negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Collaborating with technical teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and industry requirements.
- Driving customer value by understanding the business outcomes that customers are looking to achieve through the use of 1Spatial's technology and services
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, operational delivery, with a successful track record of achieving revenue targets
- Experience selling digital transformation solutions to the Critical Infrastructure Industry like Highways, Utilities etc
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Knowledge CAD/Cone software is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- There will be a requirement to travel to customer sites across the UK
