Job Summary

The Vice President of Business Development will have end-to-end responsibility for designing and executing the strategic sales plan for the BFSI market to secure new clients.

  • This includes prospecting, engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and closing new business
  • Manage multiple business initiatives in a start-up, high-growth environment
  • Manage complex contract negotiation and work with legal counsel as required
  • Win customers with solution-based sales approach while winning support of internal teams
  • Build a predictable pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Work with the internal proposal team to generate high quality proposals
  • Execute go-to-market plans via demand generation, conference attendance, industry events, etc.
  • Remain current with BFSI industry trends
  • Research and drive new business opportunities in conjunction with sales and senior management
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within and outside the company

Area of expertise (Skills)

  • 10+ years’ experience in the BFSI vertical with a focus on selling services
  • Demonstrated capability to generate business with new clients

Compensation: this position will be paid on a salaried basis with a pay range between $150,000 - $200,000 annually depending on prior experience. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law. This base pay is also subject to any authorized deductions to contribute toward the employee’s portion of benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.
