Role Overview

Capture immersive, high-quality 360° vehicle-navigation footage that helps train next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role centers on recording real-world driving from a trailing third-person perspective, with assignments that can fit into eligible trips or regular commutes.

Key Responsibilities

• Select vehicle-navigation assignments from a predefined list when your planned route meets the assignment requirements.
• Record stable, continuous driving footage from the required exterior trailing third-person perspective.
• Capture varied local driving environments, including turns, stops, intersections, parking-area entry, parking, and travel across different roads and neighborhoods.
• Reframe, export, quality-check, and submit footage according to each assignment''s requirements.
• Use strong camera-angle, video-quality, and environmental-coverage judgment to verify footage before submission.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 360° cameras, mounting and rigging equipment, video post-production, driving, quality assurance, and project or task management.
• Access to a compatible 360° action camera, such as an Insta360, GoPro MAX, or comparable device.
• Software capable of reframing and exporting 360° footage as trailing third-person video.
• A secure, vehicle-rated exterior camera mount is strongly preferred. Limited equipment support may be available to qualified applicants without a compatible mount.
• Understanding of camera mounting, stabilization, reframing, and video export.
• Regular driving habits and the ability to incorporate approved recording assignments into existing trips.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.
• Flexible assignments may be completed during qualifying trips or commutes.
• Additional recording assignments that do not involve vehicle navigation may be available, but participation is optional and depends on individual interest and assignment availability.

Compensation

• Advertised pay range: $15 to $25 per hour.
