Position Purpose:
To connect potential clients to the correct Rosecrance services and resources. Perform duties and other miscellaneous tasks. Backup for receptionist when needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum of one year of previous switchboard experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Qualifications:
- General Customer Service and switchboard experience preferred
- Working knowledge of addiction treatment preferred
Essential Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls from the main line, greet callers, obtain and provide information through a set of predetermined questions, transfer calls to appropriate parties and/or take messages.
- Open new client inquiries in Avatar, and connect with proper Access department or front desk.
- Handled incoming faxes through opening inquiries, scanning in and distributing to proper staff or department.
- Work with access team to ensure calls for service are answered in a timely and professional manner.
- Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.
- Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills that incorporate the 5 tenets of the Rosecrance Way into daily practices and interactions with all stakeholders.
- Serve as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.

Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
Schedule: 8 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Work Location: Rosecrance Health Network- Mulford Road Rockford, IL. (with potential remote if located in IL, IA, WI)
