Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Chief Architect to join our forward-thinking team. As a pivotal technical leader, you will drive innovation, define our architectural strategy, and lead the design of our cutting-edge solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology roadmap, ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Drive the architectural vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Innovation: Identify and implement emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain our competitive edge.
  • System Design: Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and security standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to deliver robust and reliable solutions.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines across the organization.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of architectural decisions and their impacts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven track record of delivering complex, production-grade software products. Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++) and a deep understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Architectural Knowledge: Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, microservices, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing the most challenging technical issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate architectural concepts and influence stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in SaaS or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
  • Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Security Focus: Strong understanding of security best practices and experience in designing secure software solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
