We are looking for enthusiastic Claims Intake professionals to join and grow with our team!
Shifts Available: 8am - 4:30PM CST.
Job Responsibilities
- Regularly answer calls in a timely, positive manner and provide exceptional customer service
- Receive inbound calls from claimants, attorneys, vendors, brokers, Third Party
Administrators and agents regarding claims - Make outbound calls, when necessary, to policy holders, claimants, and adjustors
accordingly to obtain additional information for claim submission - Receive and record potential claims by phone and email
- Research requested information using available resources and provide accurate and detailed information regarding all inquiries, based on protocol
- Complete call notes and call reports as necessary and update them within the Claims’ Systems, recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Route calls to other team members and departments when necessary
- Escalate customer concerns as needed
Preferred Knowledge
- A general understanding of insurance coverage (e.g. claimant and type of claim, etc.)
- Must be detail oriented, paying special attention to spelling, punctuation, grammar, and information
- Must be compassionate, patient, and professional
- Must have basic computer knowledge – using multiple screens and systems
- Adaptability - Agents must be flexible and open to change
- Excellent research and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $20-24 per hour. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
