Kunai is looking for a dynamic Client Partner to join our team. They will play a key role in driving a strategic and client-centered focus to our business, and ensuring our delivery exceeds client expectations. Many of the job responsibilities are consistent with an Account Manager role and will lead/develop initial engagement input, support staffing and set expectations for engagement delivery.

Our Client Partner role is responsible for growing and managing effective relationships across clients and internally at Kunai. They will interact with clients as a strategic partner who helps clarify, develop and manage project objectives, identify challenges, and guide strategies and metrics for success. This person will be responsible for leading small to medium-sized client portfolios and working with our Head of Accounts to ensure efficacy and consistency of our client experience.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Primary POC for day-to-day client needs
  • Accountable for overall client satisfaction and quality of delivery
  • Primary management of the engagement delivery cycle and SOW commitments
  • Partner with Sales leaders to develop proposals and SOWs as needed
  • Develop proactive thought leadership of client industry and areas of interest
  • Identify client relationships and opportunities for incremental growth
  • Ensure Operational Excellence on client accounts
  • Coaches and supports engagement team members
  • Direct team in execution of non-technical project deliverables
  • Identify and mitigate risks within project engagements and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Has detailed knowledge of the digital industry, emerging trends and innovation
  • Financial management responsibilities include account and project budgets, margins, projections and billing
  • Drive awareness of Kunai service offerings across client relationships

You are:

  • A servant leader with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A detail-oriented, strong communicator and an effective presenter with skills necessary to develop client recommendations and presentations
  • Able to think and operate with strategic orientation in addition to task/project management
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and drives to clarity when necessary
  • Knowledgeable about managing up and when to escalate internal and/or client concerns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5+ yrs of experience as an Account Manager, Client Partner or Sr. Product Manager within a professional services organization
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Experience in managing digital projects, programs, and teams

Nice to have:

  • Financial industry experience
  • Fluency in Spanish
