Recursion is at the forefront of reimagining drug discovery through the integration of automated cell biology, high-dimensional and diverse data sets, and sophisticated analytics. We are seeking a summer Intern on normal workdays.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform Medical literature reviews to support each of our 5 clinical programs
  • Create a common nomenclature for cataloging medical literature
  • Index articles in a consistent manner for ease of use for the clinical development team
  • Assist with updating and optimizing databases
  • Integrate data with systems, processes and dashboards
  • Facilitate uploading and tagging of key documentation

Location:

This position is remote/work from home position during normal working hours We ask that remote employees commit to regular on-site visits for routine work and departmental events.

The Team You’ll Joining
You will be joining the Clinical Development team, which is comprised of various scientific, medical, and technical departments working to advance our drug discoveries into the clinical. Reporting to the Medical Strategy and Communications lead, you will enable the team to streamline indexing important materials for regulatory submissions, and audit readiness. The clinical development team is a high performing team works together to continually improve our workflows to drive towards greater efficiency.

The Experience You’ll Need

  • Background in life sciences and an understanding of literature review and database management is required.
  • Enrolled in Biology, Chemistry, Pre-Med, or Nursing program(s) preferred

How You’ll be Supported

  • Daily check-ins with team (as needed) to gauge progress and share insights
  • This intern will participate in weekly calls with the various departments within clinical development to learn more about the clinical development process
  • An on-site visit to Recursion headquarters to engage with other interns and learn more about Recursion’s other technical aspects.
