About You
Nutrafol is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Associate contractor. This person will serve as the primary Clinical Study Monitor for Nutrafol’s ongoing US hair nutraceutical clinical studies. The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for assigned aspects of clinical monitoring and site management in accordance with the clinical study protocol and applicable guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The Clinical Research Associate will conduct investigational site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance, data reliability, study product accountability, and the proper care and treatment of study subjects. This person is an experienced clinical research professional who enjoys working with clinical study sites and can function independently with little oversight. This role reports directly into Clinical Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Assists with overseeing the operations of clinical study to ensure that it meets all requirements as required by the clinical study protocol, GCP, and applicable regulations;
- Reviews and analyzes clinical study data for accuracy and completeness. Assists with resolution of investigational site/data queries.
- Manages essential documents at the Site and Sponsor as required by local regulations and GCP before, during, and after a clinical study;
- Monitors clinical study data, both remote and onsite as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines, such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Council for Harmonization (ICH)
- Knowledge of clinical trial data management systems and electronic data capture
- Ability to travel as needed; travel can range from 60% to 85%
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills; accurate and detail-oriented
Compensation: The hourly rate for this role is $120-$140 USD per hour. Please note that the benefits listed below are available to full-time, benefits-eligible Nutrafol employees. Contractors are not currently eligible for benefits, although there is a possibility for contract roles to convert to a full-time, salaried & benefitted position in the future. Final compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors including experience, skills, education or certifications, and other business needs.
