We are looking for an experienced Clinical Risk Specialist to join our Clinical Quality, Risk Management team. This role would be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating clinical risk. We are looking for someone who has experience providing Clinical Risk Management and wants to bring their talents to a “for purpose” space. *This is a remote position with a typical schedule of Monday-Friday 9a-5p Eastern Timezone; some flexibility with hours as needed/desired. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.*

What You’ll Do

  • Daily Clinical Risk Monitoring
  • Clinical Risk Situations & Sentinel Events
    • Manage and supervise all AI, ProtoCall, On-Call, Post Mortem, and RMCC documents and processes
    • Facilitation of Talkspace Psychological First Aid needs following sentinel events and as assigned
  • Risk Management Clinical Quality Program, Development, Policies, and Procedures
    • Management and oversight of all Risk Management SOPs, Policies, and related tasks
    • Develop improved Risk Management systems and approaches
  • Assist Provider Training Programs
    • Provision of Risk Management learning communities
    • Assist on-boarding & training of providers as needed regarding clinical risk management
  • Peer Proficiency Review
    • Conduct audits to investigate complaints and evaluate improvement opportunities and risk
    • Develop and evolve criteria used to evaluate clinical quality
  • Clinical Support
    • Support providers with clinical issues and connect them with peer consultants as needed
    • Assist with clinical risk management
  • Quality Management
    • Coordinate with quality management with audits to guide practitioner action plans
    • Engage in quality improvement initiatives as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

About You

  • Minimum education of Master’s degree in counseling or relative licensure-qualifying field,
  • At least 12 months as an Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional,
  • 1+ year of experience in telemental health,
  • Risk Management and Clinical Quality Proficiency,
    • Direct Clinical Risk Management experience in telehealth specifically is preferred, not required
  • Advanced analysis and interpretation preferred, not required

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is $69,000 - $80,000 per year. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
