Position: CNC Machining Expert Type:Contract Compensation:$120–$175/hour Location:Remote
Role Responsibilities
Contribute to text-only, objective, verifiable rubrics for grading CNC machining solutions across provided CAD models and machining context.
Write clear verification rationale for each criterion to ensure clarity and precision.
Review sample solutions and explain pass/fail outcomes with detailed reasoning.
Apply real production-floor judgment to determine the approval or rejection of machining approaches.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve rubric quality.
Qualifications
Must-Have
5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
Strong production judgment to assess safe operations on real machines.
Written English fluency for text-based deliverables.
Preferred
Experience with hobbyist machines (Makera Carvera) and Haas machines (VF-2). Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)
