
As a Commercial Operations Analyst, you will contribute significantly to the LGC Standards Commercial Operations team. By working alongside the Global Sales organisation, you will aid in territory management, manage customer data governance, and help further develop our analytics and reporting capabilities.
You will help map, analyse, and present both financial and non-financial data to support business decision-making. You will also contribute to automating workflows and adopting new technologies to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build positive relationships across the business and act as a trusted partner to understand and fulfill data and reporting needs. You will engage with senior collaborators and cross-functional teams globally. Your skill in working well with others will be essential in achieving our ambitious goals.
Territory Allocation & Sales Operations
Support the annual territory allocation process, linking sales representatives to customer portfolios. This includes:
Contributing to template building
Managing data inputs
Uploading allocations into CRM/ERP systems
Supporting sales target setting and commission calculations
Management of Customer Data Governance
Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer data quality by applying controls and validation checks. Play an active role in strengthening data governance processes to improve commercial efficiency. Your efforts will ensure that our customer data is exceptionally accurate and reliable.
Analytics & Insight Delivery
Develop management information, reports, and dashboards to provide actionable insights. Analyse financial and operational data to find opportunities (e.g. cross-sell, market trends) and risks (e.g. churn, customer engagement), using data visualisation to communicate findings clearly. Your insights will be instrumental in driving our business forward and maintaining our competitive edge.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, including strong data modelling capability
Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) or customer data platforms
Exposure to SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, or other data visualisation tools, with a desire to develop further proficiency
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage
Willingness to travel occasionally to LGC sites
