Develop and execute effective and integrated communication plans, including strategies and tactics across all channels, and leveraging all communication opportunities.
Oversee and ensure integration of day-to-day running-the-business communications for assigned audience(s) or channel(s).
Manage multiple concurrent projects, often requiring outside resources and crossing divisions to produce the most effective communications.
Serve as communication strategist and consult with corporate and division partners to develop strategies key messages and vehicles for communication to support corporate, division, and project objectives.
Lead and/or participate in project meetings. Proactively and openly articulate ideas and concerns with both corporate and project stakeholders, while balancing the objectives of both groups.
Evaluate the impact of different communication channels and messaging strategies to ensure effective communications.
Serve as account manager between creative teams and business partners. Initiate and manage creative strategy work, including some direct content development.
Understand and leverage communication touch points for assigned audiences and/or projects.
Ensure market positioning and approved key messages are adhered to.
Manage communication projects, including tracking, reporting status, project budget, and measurement of tactics.
Analyze processes and strategies relating to increasing efficiency, quality, cost-control principles, workflow, accuracy, and reduction of complex production processes and products, providing recommendations for improvement.
Advise and recommend effective communication approaches.
Write and edit copy for various communication pieces.
Manage various communication processes and workflow.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; in lieu of degree 4 years functional experience
Project management experience
Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to speak in group situations with clear and concise communication
Excellent written communication skills. Ability to write documentation and reports that are clear, complete, and understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to organize individual responsibilities for multiple tasks, resulting in the timely and accurate completion and delivery of tasks
Proficiency with word processing, flowcharts, and spreadsheet applications
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster cooperation amongst business partners and coordinate internal as well as external resource/workload
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties
Ability to work with individuals from all levels of organization
Preferred Skills
Proficient in word processing and desktop publishing applications
Coordinate, write, edit and produce proposals as requested from CEC Sales Team and/or Brokers
Analyze historical data, competitor pricing and market expectations to develop competitive pricing strategies
Evaluate plan design, pricing models, broker market share and client demographics to calculate plan rates
Own and manage the entire proposal process for large and complex RFPs
Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure proposals are accurate, visually engaging and highly compelling
Oversee final production of proposals including formatting, reviewing, and assembling documents
Meet proposal deadlines through effective time management
Ensure proposals meet or exceed all RFP requirements
Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
