Climate Bonds Initiative is an investor-focused, international, not-for-profit organisation, working towards mobilizing global capital for climate action.

Climate Bonds has played a central role in transforming the green bond market from a niche concept to a mainstream source of capital for sustainable development, driving quality of issuance through the development of science-based green definitions in line with the Paris Agreement.

Our work encompasses a variety of activities, such as guiding market participants through the green bonds certification process, gathering and distributing market intelligence and data, conducting policy analysis and advocacy, developing taxonomies, organizing conferences, engaging with investors, and providing capacity-building support.

We are an international organization, working on projects around the globe and are looking to build our database of potential project partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
