Your mission

Join deskbird as our Content & Communications Manager and play a key role in shaping our brand’s voice. You’ll craft compelling B2B content, drive social media engagement (with a focus on LinkedIn), and oversee PR and events to strengthen our presence in the DACH market. In this role you will

Content Strategy & Management
  • Develop and execute high-quality B2B content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, videos, and website content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with deskbird’s brand voice, values, and messaging guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather insights and develop engaging, data-driven content.
  • Research industry trends and customer needs to create relevant, impactful content.
Event, Communication & PR Management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, webinars, and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Develop communication plans for events, covering pre-event promotion, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Build and manage relationships with event partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Create and distribute PR materials, including press releases and media kits, to promote company news, product launches, and key events.
Social Media Management
  • Develop and execute a LinkedIn-focused social media strategy to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
  • Create and curate content in German and English (posts, articles, multimedia) to engage audiences.
  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics to refine strategies and maximise engagement.
  • Monitor conversations, engage with followers, industry influencers, and stakeholders, and grow deskbird’s online presence.

What you need to be successful

  • Work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent German (C1+ written & spoken) and excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills, with an ability to translate complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • Experience with SEO, content optimisation, and social media strategy.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content and social media effectiveness.
  • Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured, detail-oriented manner, while also collaborating across teams.
  • Experience in event planning, PR, or video production is a plus.
