As the Content Marketing Specialist at 7shifts, you will drive brand awareness and organic growth by creating high-quality content and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Marketing you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align content with business goals, support copywriting across channels, and contribute to editorial planning to maximize content impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive awareness and organic demand by crafting high-quality blog posts, articles, templates, case studies, and SEO content
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging and tone across all platforms by actively participating in peer and freelancer editing, sharing feedback, and collaborating on content refinement
  • Support copywriting across multiple channels including email, website, performance ads, and social media
  • Contribute to editorial calendar planning to maximize 7shifts’ content production and distribution
  • Align content with business objectives and customer needs by collaborating closely with the Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Product Growth teams

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, content management, or editorial
  • Exceptional writing skills with both short and long-form copy, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences and asset types
  • Passion for creating inspiring, helpful content for restaurant owners, operators, and employees
  • Skilled in juggling multiple projects and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Experienced in interviewing sources, conducting research, and synthesizing data into cohesive pieces
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration with experience working closely with customers, industry experts, and partners
  • Experience in or exposure to the restaurant or hospitality industry

It’d be even cooler if you had:

  • Conversion copywriting skills with experience writing for websites and performance ads
  • Experience in PR writing press releases
  • Experience in the SaaS industry
