We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our A-team (hybrid*/remote). As a Content Specialist at Allucent, you are responsible for supporting Marketing and subject matter experts by developing new life sciences content appealing to scientists working for small to mid-size biotechs. This includes writing support for blogs, infographics, brochures, case studies, and other non-technical content. Working closely with other members of the marketing team, this person will also promote content over social media, website, and advertising platforms. The content specialist will also be the final editor and proofreader of all content before it goes to final approval.

In this role your key tasks will include:

  • Collaborate with team to clearly define the objectives and scope of life science industry content development.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) to define how to position Allucent and its services as a leading CRO.
  • Collaborate with digital team to optimize content for organic search.
  • Leverage the use of AI to support content development and avoid duplication of content.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, digital agency and senior director of digital marketing to properly identify and leverage topics that have been identified for development.
  • Participate in the annual process to develop content strategy.
  • Proof read all content prior to approval.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

To be successful you will possess:

  • Bachelor of Arts marketing, advertising, communications and/or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in life sciences writing and editing promotional and educational content for a variety of formats including blogs, articles, brochures, case studies, and website .
  • Good understanding of the marketing function and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to write about and simplify complex topics for appropriate target audiences.
  • Experience with the following applications:
    • Microsoft Suite of Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • WordPress
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
  • Positive attitude for self-learning / on-the-job learning.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced challenging environment of a growing company.
  • Must be open for new tasks and assignments within the team.
  • Must be flexible to accommodate team members who work in a variety of time zones (e.g. U.S., UK, India.)
