
Job Description Summary
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the site works team by leading contractor pre-qualification. The Contractor Qualification manager will streamline and enforce the qualification process to ensure a capable and reliable site works supply chain for GEV. This role is responsible for engaging contractors and driving the qualification process to timely completion.
Job Description
In this role, you will:
Work closely with Site Works Commodity Manager to establish a list of contractors to be qualified
Drive contractor outreach and assistance through the pre-qual process
Perform comprehensive review of contractor submissions
Schedule informational calls to educate contractors
Provide detailed weekly updates to Site Works Commodity Manager
Collaborate with internal teams to identify priorities and urgent qualifications
Lead qualification renewal
Coordinate with internal team members on timely reviews
Implement improvements to improve current CQM/CW system for increased efficiency
Ensure compliance with GE sourcing policies and procedures
Perform on-site contractor audits as required
Support the contractor ERP onboarding process
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a major construction project environment
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-construction and/or construction qualification
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel domestically & internationally 40% of the time if required. Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and Canada is required.
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline
Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and in budget

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $94,600.00 and $157,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
