In this role you will get to :

  • Implement and adhere to a system that ensures timely and accurate financial report generation.
  • Enhance the cash flow management process to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal resource allocation.
  • Establish a proactive approach to prepare the organization for successful annual audits and tax reviews.
  • Ensure timely and accurate corporate reporting for all debt covenant calculations and deliverables, and all Alpine templates and deliverables: accounting, tax, audit.
  • Establish an environment that promotes continuous learning, mentorship, and professional growth within the accounting team while increasing efficiency/ optimization.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Controller experience
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Masters of Accounting preferred
  • EST/CST Time Zone preferred
  • Strong skills in NetSuite highly preferred
  • Audit, Tax, Cash Management experience
  • SaaS, EdTech experience with strong knowledge of GAAP and integration capabilities or experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS), and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Unwavering commitment to ethical behavior and high standards of integrity.
  • Ability to enforce ethical conduct within the finance department.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on changes in financial regulations and industry trends
  • Deep knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry and region of operation.
  • Ability to ensure the organization adheres to all financial and tax regulations.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective leadership skills to lead and motivate the finance team.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure team productivity.

Physical Requirements for this position :

  • Remote 
  • Up to 10% travel for off-site team meetings 
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
