Your Mission

As the Country Manager for India, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving all aspects of Nuvei’s commercial operations, business development, and strategy in the India market. You will leverage your extensive experience in the payment space and your strong relationships with key wallets and financial institutions to expand Nuvei’s presence and achieve business objectives in India.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic business plan for Nuvei in India, aligning with the company’s global objectives.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive growth and increase market share
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major digital wallets, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective operations within the country, including compliance with local regulations, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Performance: Achieve financial targets and KPIs, managing the country sales target.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the payment space, with a strong understanding of the India market.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, and strategic leadership.
  • Extensive network and strong relationships with major digital wallets and financial institutions in India.
  • Deep knowledge of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in the payments industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Fluency in Indian and English is required.
