We are looking for a Creative Copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team on a contract basis! You will play a crucial role in producing compelling copy across various mediums, including advertising campaigns, marketing materials, website content, and user interface/experience (UI/UX) copy.
To help you best prepare, we’ve outlined the interview process for this role, we aim to have this process completed within 3 weeks:
- 30 minute google meet with our People and Talent Coordinator
- 45 minute portfolio review with our VP of Marketing
- 45 minutes google meet call with our VP of Design
Requirements
About you
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across advertising, marketing, and UI/UX copy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
- Strong research and conceptual thinking skills.
- Outstanding time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- You’re a collaborative team player with great communication skills.
- You are a creative thinker and communicator.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Familiarity with crypto/web3 communities, platforms, and tools (e.g., Discord, Telegram).
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for the crypto/web3 space.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with content marketing ideas.
- Ability to generate creative campaign concepts.
- Experience creating content style guides or brand voice guidelines
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma
What you’ll be doing:
- Write clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for a variety of projects such as digital ads, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, and more
- Collaborate with the design team to create microcopy for UI elements like buttons, menus, error messages, and tooltips that enhance the user experience
- Conduct research to understand the target audience, brand voice, and industry trends
- Develop creative concepts and messaging that align with marketing objectives and campaigns
- Adapt writing style to fit the tone and voice for different channels and audiences
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of content style guides and brand voice guidelines
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and marketers
