About the Role
As a Creative Developer at Mangomint, you'll be at the intersection of design and development, playing a vital role in bringing innovative and visually engaging experiences to life. Your responsibilities will encompass blending technical expertise with creative flair to enhance user interfaces, optimize user experience, and innovate new features. You'll collaborate closely with our design and product teams to translate concepts and wireframes into responsive and visually stunning front-end implementations.
Additionally, you'll contribute to the development and maintenance of Mangomint's website, ensuring consistency in branding and user experience across all digital touchpoints. Your role will involve not only writing efficient, maintainable code but also contributing creative ideas and solutions to improve the overall aesthetic and usability of both our software platform and website.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborating with designers and product managers to conceptualize and implement visually appealing user interfaces
- Developing responsive web applications with a focus on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JS
- Implementing dynamic and interactive elements to enhance user engagement and experience
- Optimizing user interfaces for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Iterating on designs and user feedback to continuously improve the user experience
- Creating motion animation content for our webpage and marketing materials
- Contributing to the design system and component library to maintain consistency across the platform
- Working closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
- Developing a positive UI experience through micro-interactions, UI transitions and scroll driven animations
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency with optimizing animations for different browsers and devices, coupled with the skill to select the appropriate tool for the task, such as HTML, SVG, or canvas
- Demonstrable experience utilizing animation libraries such as GSAP and framer
- An understanding of accessibility compliance demonstrated through support for the prefers-reduced-motion media query and the implementation of alternative animations catered to users with motion sensitivity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a willingness to take on any challenges
- Strong understanding of motion principles, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- An interest in staying up to date with emerging technologies, techniques, and best practices in animation and front-end development
- Bonus points for being familiar with Web GL, shaders, rive and/or After Effects
