The role

As a Credit Strategy Analyst, your role entails utilizing advanced data extraction and analytics tools to manage and analyze complex datasets, extracting actionable insights crucial for crafting a mission-oriented credit strategy. Your duties encompass the full spectrum of the credit lifecycle, extending from acquisition to portfolio management and collections. You will address a variety of product lines, such as overdraft lines for demand deposit accounts, closed-end lending products, credit builder loans, and more. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, Fraud, Data Science, and Engineering teams to ensure a holistic and effective approach to credit risk management.

This role is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing credit strategies based on analytics (e.g. SQL, Python) and strategic long-term thinking.

  • Owning the full lifecycle of credit policy changes from ideation through execution.

  • Monitoring consumer loan performance to constantly innovate and improve credit policy.

  • Ensuring loan portfolios meet the company's risk tolerance.

  • Ensuring adherence to various aspects of risk compliance requirements across the credit lifecycle through essential detective control reporting.

  • Additional duties as assigned by your manager.

You bring

  • Mid Career (5-10 Years).

  • Prior experience in credit strategy at a consumer fintech or bank.

  • Prior experience in managing overdraft lines for digital bank demand deposit accounts and short-term cash advance products.

  • Strong communication skills to influence business decisions.

  • Be a thought leader and inspire others in thought leadership.

  • Participate in day-to-day activities of the business.

Pay Transparency

The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $150,000. Pay is generally based upon the level, complexity, responsibility, and job duties/requirements of the specific position. We then source candidates with the requisite skills, expertise, education, training, and experience. Leveling Philosophy

In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at One. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within One.
