About the opportunity
Veza is looking for a Customer Deployment Engineer who is versatile in managing and executing successful implementation plans and deployments in production environments. This role requires a results-driven individual who excels in navigating complex and dynamic environments. You will be reporting to the Director of Customer Deployments.
You Will:
- Develop solution plans that support business investment decisions, balancing costs, risks, and product quality effectively.
- Create innovative and practical designs for end-to-end technical solutions, aligning with business strategy and objectives within Veza’s context.
- Lead the successful implementation of designs and architectures by managing expectations and risks, ensuring the appropriate organizational structures, principles, tools, and responsibilities are established.
You Have:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required or Equivalent Experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a solution or technical architect role deploying Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Experience with hosted solution platforms including private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency with IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM), Governance, and Identity Providers (e.g., PingFederate, Okta, ForgeRock).
- Customer-Centric Problem Solving with a proven track record managing end-to-end project lifecycles in an engineering capacity.
- Other:
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours to collaborate with global IT Services teams.
- Experience with or comfort in using REST APIs and SDKs.
- Familiarity with Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory, SQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with provisioning architecture and HRMS platforms.

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
