Job Description

We are looking for a Customer experience rep. to join our team!

At CropX, we're driven by the mission to build the most trusted, easy-to-use, and comprehensive agronomic farm management platform in the world, helping farmers and ag businesses grow more profitable and sustainable.

Responsibilities and expectations:

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat.
  • Quickly build rapport and respond to incoming queries or issues in a professional, compassionate manner.
  • Establish regular communication with customers during their lifecycle touchpoints, maintaining engagement and customer satisfaction. Lifecycle touchpoints include onboarding and subscription renewals.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience team and Territory Managers to identify upsell and renewal opportunities with existing customers, and make it happen!
  • Assist with order and returns processing, providing invoices and up-to-date balances.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the CropX product suite.
  • Comfortably coach customers on how to leverage the CropX platform, whether in one-on-one calls or webinars.
  • Find creative and resourceful solutions and think outside the box when faced with new issues.
  • Advocate for customer needs to help drive product and service improvements, ensuring that our business is developing with our customers as a top priority.

Requirements

  • Agricultural background strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (specifically Outlook, Excel and Word). Experience with CRMs is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with remote members, building trust quickly because you are authentic, direct, and have strong empathy for customers.
  • Excel in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task to meet various deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Confident presenting complex solutions in a way that inspires your audience.
  • Technical capability/background, strong preference for BSc in a technical field.
