Remote World pairs South African talent with UK-based companies — and right now, we're looking for a friendly, patient Customer Service Agent to join one of our UK client teams, working fully remote.
If you genuinely enjoy helping people, can stay calm under pressure, and take satisfaction in resolving issues efficiently, this role is for you. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, making sure every interaction leaves a positive impression.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer queries via phone, email, or live chat
Resolve complaints and escalate issues when necessary, following set procedures
Keep accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system
Identify customer needs and provide clear, helpful information
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex queries
Meet daily service targets and maintain quality standards What You'll Need
Experience in a customer service, call centre, or support role
Clear and professional communication in English (written and spoken)
Familiarity with CRM tools or ticketing systems is a plus
A calm, solutions-focused approach when dealing with difficult situations
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home working setup What's on Offer
R13,000–R15,000 per month (based on experience)
100% remote — work from anywhere in South Africa
Working hours: 11:00–19:00 SAST (09:00–17:00 UK time)
