Responsibilities

  • Design and document complex technical requirements for business applications
  • Partner with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions
  • Create data conversion mapping specifications
  • Extract, cleanse, and manipulate data through complex queries utilizing multiple operational systems and data repositories.
  • Ensure quality of data conversion output including holding quality inspections
  • Deliver complex analyses through reports, presentations and or visualizations that describe trends and convey findings and provide recommendations for data-driven business decisions.
  • Validate offline System and Output testing of data conversion files
  • Debug complex code and processes
  • Plan and participate in mocks and other client events in conjunction with client and Fiserv partners
  • Build partnerships with clients, product owners, application development teams, and program management colleagues
  • Identify risks and issues; manage and escalate appropriately
  • Share knowledge of analytical and programming techniques.

Requirements

  • List DNA as preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in CIS/MIS, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics or related field
  • 4 or more years of experience in a Data Analyst or Data Analytics position, working with large data sets and complex models.
  • 4 or more years of experience in PLSQL, COBOL, Mainframe applications, IBM JCL, and TSO/TPX
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite with heightened focus on VBA, Access, Excel, and SQL
  • Proficient with SQL, Python, and other languages for data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Experience with BI tools (i.e., Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience in a client-facing and stakeholder management role
  • Understanding of the Issuing Industry and associated business function
  • Experience with testing and validation of output, reports, and financial balancing
  • What would be great to have:
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Exposure to CRM, loyalty, customer insights, and database marketing.
  • Experience in data management, governance, business analytics or AI.
