We are seeking a Data Labeling Team Manager with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in people management, labeling vendor management, and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.

Responsbilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of highly skilled data labeling managers, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and execution efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, setting clear goals and expectations, and providing regular performance feedback.
  • Develop and maintain stringent quality control processes to ensure the utmost accuracy of labeled data.
  • Strategically manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with AI research and development teams to refine data requirements and enhance labeling strategies that improve the training of machine learning models.
  • Communicate complex data insights and project statuses clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Handle project timelines and deliverables, ensuring resource allocation aligns with company goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of management experience in a data-focused role within a technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of motivating teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strong understanding of data annotation and machine learning processes, with hands-on experience in labeling and quality control.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of using Jira, spreadsheets, and Google Docs.
