Position Overview
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a Delivery Director to lead and manage the successful delivery and growth of existing client engagements. The Delivery Director is responsible for all facets of existing accounts to drive growth and ensure successful delivery of all client engagements.
They are accountable for delivery quality, performance to budget and successful attainment of Customer business objectives / goals. In addition, they own the revenue growth goals for existing accounts and manage client relationships as the primary point of contact. The director is also responsible for ensuring the right team is identified, onboarded and successful in all engagements. This position should also be able to work with other departments to ensure smooth and successful operations across the company as it pertains to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership & Oversight
Responsible for all delivery aspects such as productivity, quality, and milestone achievement
Owns project margin attainment and revenue achievement
Serve as the ultimate point of escalation for the project team and the client.
Hold quarterly business reviews for strategic clients
Ensure proper process and SDLC are being followed across all projects
Align with agreed upon architectural principles provided by Solution Consulting and technical resources within the talent network
Ensure value metrics are established and tracked for our projects
Ensure team members have access to the tools and materials they need to deliver in their day-to-day activities. Team Leadership & Career Development
Provide performance feedback on project team members.
Work with People Leaders and Mentors to ensure the robust development of all individuals.
Ability to train and mentor development staff
Ability to train and mentor direct managers as well as technical staff.
Ability to coach and guide employees through career paths
Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment Resource Planning, Staffing & Recruiting
Align with Talent Management on project resourcing and staffing needs
Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring to fill immediate needs as well as plan for forecasted growth
Review and sign off on SOWs for new accounts
Create SOW’s and Change Orders as needed for existing business Client & Strategic Alignment
Engage with Value Design Realization team to participate in the Sales to Delivery lifecycle
Own existing account growth goals by growing existing team and establishing new work streams.
Negotiate contracts, rates and team model changes for current clients
Experience managing and growing a portfolio of business
Ability to inspire confidence in clients and provide leadership to implementation teams
Strategic planning skills to help navigate internal and external customer requirements.
Ability to understand unique and complex business requirements and help develop plans to solve short and long term problems. Metrics

Leadership & Delivery Experience
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience managing enterprise engagements.
15+ years IT industry experience with a minimum 10+ years of experience in services delivery organization
Experience at professional services company such as an agency or consulting firm
Experience working in eCommerce / Digital Services
Experience managing and growing a portfolio of business
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and management skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed Adobe & Technical Expertise
Experience working on projects with Adobe applications is not required, but is considered a plus.
Experience with Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify+ platforms
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other CMS
Knowledge of or ability to understand technologies such as HTML, CSS, SOAP, REST, Git, AEM
Ability to communicate and document technical designs to both internal and external technical resources
Capable of driving and defending design models and best practices Process & Operational Knowledge
Thorough and deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile processes Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or business and/or equivalent experience in IT industry The base salary range for this position is $160,000 – $200,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
