About Argent

Argent aims to be crypto’s defining company: the first to bring the benefits of self-custody to a global audience. Giving people control of their assets and identity, and helping them to enjoy new economic opportunities.

To do this we’ve built the first smart wallet. As different from traditional wallets as smart phones were to 90’s phones. Argent is easier, safer, cheaper, and greener.

As a company, we’ve raised a $40m Series B from Paradigm, Index Ventures and Creandum, putting us in a strong financial position with 4 years of runway.

We work remotely across Europe, prioritizing autonomy and flexibility. And it’s a particularly exciting time to join as we’re launching new breakthrough products on Starknet.

About the Ecosystem Team

Ecosystem is a small but impactful team within Argent. We nurture the relationships with dapps and partners to ensure Argent is at the heart of a thriving ecosystem.

With the Ecosystem Team, you can expect a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

Your role as DevRel Associate

As a DevRel Associate, you’ll own the dev experience with Argent’s products, shape our products based on devs feedback, and be the face of Argent to the most exciting builders in crypto !

Developer Advocacy

• Champion our products and services within the developer community through presentations, workshops, webinars, and other events.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers using our SDKs (e.g StarknetKit), and other game-changing features (e.g. session keys, paymaster..).
• Help organise our community events and hackathons, including Abstract, the largest account abstraction conference.

Technical Support

• Provide technical support to developers facing challenges or issues with Argent’s products
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalate complex problems to appropriate teams, and ensure timely resolution.

Feedback Gathering

• Gather feedback from developers on their experiences with our products and services.
• Advocate for improvements and new features based on developer needs and pain points.

Starknet ecosystem growth

• Meet every team on Starknet and work closely with StarkWare and the Starknet Foundation.
• Develop strategies to attract more developers to the Starknet ecosystem.

Build break things

• Create and build stuff that helps developers grow with Argent or the Starknet Ecosystem flourish
• Lead small-scale community projects on OnlyDust.

Content Creation

• Maintain and keep up-to-date the Argent devs documentation.
• Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, and sample code to help developers understand and utilize our products effectively
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure that developer-facing content aligns with our overall messaging and product roadmap.

Your experience should include:

• 2+ years in a technical position (e.g. engineer, computer science, data science…) with a clear understanding of core engineering concepts
• Diverse coding experiences - Frontend (JS/TS/React/Next), Blockchain (Cairo), etc.. You will help devs implement our products.
• Great communication skills, both writing and speaking
• Being crypto native (heavy user of crypto products deeply enthusiastic about web3’s potential).
• Strong knowledge of the Ethereum and L2 space
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-moving and sometimes loosely-defined environment

You might also have:

• Past experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related technical role.
• Good understanding of the Starknet ecosystem
• Strong product mindset with prior experience defining product requirements

Please also note:

• The role might involve some travel as you represent Argent at community events around the world. We will of course pay for this travel, but appreciate it might not suit everyone’s lifestyle.
