Seeking a seasoned and strategic Director, Business Architect to lead planning and govern the implementation of innovative business solutions for Molina. This role is critical in the growth and support of Medicare Advantage and other government-sponsored health insurance markets. You will leverage your deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, particularly Medicare, to design and architect scalable business models and processes that deliver exceptional value to our members and stakeholders.
Job Summary
Focuses on managing process improvement, supporting organizational change management, capacity planning, delivery governance. Delivery management experience is a must. Project management Includes estimating, scheduling, costing, planning and issue/risk management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to set strategic direction from general enterprise-wide direction and manage through lower level managers a team of direct reports spanning both entry level and career level professionals on how to conduct desired business analysis in response to business and technical requests.
- Also able to provide independent work deliverables at the Lead Business Architect level as needed in addition to managing team
- Regularly interacts with senior leadership, architects program teams and management, offering direction and strategically sound options to ensure successful project/analysis completion.
- Trains, mentors, and coaches assigned team members.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business architecture strategy for all lines of business
- Partner with key stakeholders across the organization, including product, sales, operations, and compliance, to identify business needs and translate them into actionable architecture roadmaps.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends impacting government-sponsored health insurance, and translate this knowledge into strategic business architecture decisions.
- Manage a team of business architects, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including vendors, government agencies and industry associations.
- Communicate complex business architecture concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage adherence to architectural standards.
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor's degree – Or equivalent work experience
Required Experience
10 - 13 years of relevant work experience, including prior management of professional level staff.
Preferred License, Certification, Association
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
