The Director Ecommerce will be responsible for delivering sales through commercially focused strategies, online marketing, merchandising, user experience, and site operations for North America Pool Solutions and developing our 3rd party Marketplaces. You will be a true cross-functional leader to oversee a team that delivers against strategic goals and collaborate with our digital, product, technology and marketing teams, ensuring the achievement of key performance metrics and operational excellence. You will have a robust understanding of digital retail and be familiar with navigating and optimizing listings on major Ecommerce platforms.

You will report directly to the VP North America Pool Solutions and will work closely with the rest of the Global Solenis Pool Solutions executive team. Key responsibilities are:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets across North America markets.
  • Oversee merchandising strategies to ensure a compelling product assortment, timely updates, and effective promotions that align with trends and market demand.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to support revenue and growth objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operating metrics. Implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Establish and maintain customer network in the ecommerce ecosystem to create new business pipeline and offer our prospects and customers new solutions to help them better run their business more efficiently across all segments.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Recruiting – building, supporting and coaching a team that exceeds annual sales quotas.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of eCommerce experience.
  • Proven track record in driving eCommerce sales and marketing strategies.
  • Experience in demand planning, sensing, and pricing.
  • Strong understanding of online merchandising and user experience best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Candidate must have keen business acumen, advanced online customer analytical skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
  • Great communications and interpersonal skills.

This role is a remote opportunity with up to 50% travel around the US.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $155,625.00 and $217,875.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
