Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and driving global services delivery strategy and operations, this is a unique, ‘work from anywhere’ role that will offer you fantastic challenges and opportunities to build upon our thriving global professional services business.

What the role looks like

This role forms part of our Commercial division’s senior leadership team and is integral to Moodle’s ongoing success. As a highly experienced commercial leader, you will bring entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for success to achieve revenue growth targets and our strategic objectives.

More specifically, this entails:

  • Bringing together, leading and inspiring a global Moodle Services Delivery team across Custom Development, Learning Design, Customer Success and Infrastructure including teams in the US and India and potentially further afield
  • Attracting, developing and leading a high performance team that are passionate about delivering Moodle services to the world
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for design and build of new Moodle Services, including - but not limited to - custom solutions, integrations, themes, applications, consultancy services and certifications
  • Financial management, including budget and forecast setting, cost and revenue management
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in order to deliver world class customer service across our Services Delivery business units.

This role can be based anywhere in the world! As long as you can work effectively within a global context and provide leadership for our US and India based teams.

Requirements

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can tell us about your:

  • Proven track record of delivering highest quality solutions, on time and within budget, delighting customers
  • Technical skills and experience of hands-on work with the Moodle platform, infrastructure and integrations
  • Demonstrated track record of developing strategic business plans and leadership of a complex Services Delivery team, with experience leading these teams in a software product company desirable
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), negotiation skills and a collaborative/team approach to execution
  • Collaborative and team focused attitude, a willingness to embrace the culture and bring teams together, all with a genuine passion for helping Moodle advance our mission.
