Director of Business Development — Clinical Research
IMA Clinical Research is seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives across our site-based, hybrid, and decentralized clinical trial service lines. This is a full-time, remote position requiring occasional travel.

Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key decision-makers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research organizations
Drive revenue growth by securing new business opportunities across the full spectrum of clinical trial models
Oversee the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation through contract close, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned targets
Represent IMA Clinical Research at industry conferences and professional events, articulating the organization's value proposition
Maintain accurate pipeline and account records within CRM systems, ensuring a high standard of client relationship management
Qualifications
Demonstrated success in sales within the clinical research sector, with a proven ability to originate and close business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
Strong self-direction, with the ability to independently identify opportunities and execute effective sales strategies
Superior organizational and time-management capabilities across concurrent priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered
1–2 years of sales experience within clinical research, site networks, CROs, or pharmaceutical organizations
