ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

Who you are:

As the Director of Connected Services, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT integrations, automation technology, and the development of our identity & access platform, while also contributing to software development best practices and architecture. This is a role that requires a combination of strong technical background, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to build relationships across ICEYE.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of IT integrations, automation technology, and identity & access platform build, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement software development best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and tools that enhance efficiency, scalability, and security across our connected services ecosystem.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop and maintain strategic partnerships that support our connected services initiatives.
  • Define and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of IT integrations, automation technology, and identity & access platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT integrations, automation technology, and identity & access management.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software development, IT integrations, automation, and identity & access management.

Requirements

  • Proven team leadership and experience building high performing, multi-disciplinary teams
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on IT integrations, automation technology, identity & access management, and software architecture.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex IT integration projects and driving automation initiatives to streamline business processes.
  • Strong understanding of identity & access management principles and experience with identity & access platform development and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development technologies and frameworks, as well as public cloud platforms
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and successfully develop cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
