Description
The Customer Experience Director of Delivery manages and oversees the successful delivery of products and services, involving strategic planning, resource allocation, and team leadership. This includes overseeing daily delivery, communication, and quality assurance operations. The Director also analyzes delivery data and customer feedback to make informed operational and development needs decisions.Here are some things you can expect to accomplish in this role:
- Build systems that drive product and service fulfillment, ensuring delivery is completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and implement delivery strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to service standards and best practices with the contract facilitation team.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure successful delivery and optimization of profit.
- Anticipate resource constraints or bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
- Manage budget and financial resources related to delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of contract project managers and delivery staff.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Monitor project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality products/services that meet or exceed expectations.
- Proactively address client concerns and issues, demonstrating a commitment to delivering value and exceeding expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance delivery performance.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve delivery capabilities.
- Forecast delivery demands, monitor pipeline, and proactively communicate recruitment and compliance needs to Contractor Operations.
- Analyze facilitation performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and present regular reports on delivery status, risks, trends, and escalations to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery documentation.
- Develop and maintain delivery dashboards and performance metrics.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Project Management, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Seven+ years of experience in project management, delivery management, or a similar role, with at least five years in a leadership or management position.
- Five+ years experience in K-12 tech, professional learning and development, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven ability to develop and execute service delivery strategies.
- Deep understanding of facilitation management and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in the delivery of professional learning and development.
- Understanding of K-12 education and unique challenges within the profession.
