At Adonis we’re focused on adding intelligence and automation to the Revenue Cycle Management process. Revenue cycle management is the full process from when a patient makes an appointment through to when all parties are paid. This whole process is typically extremely manual, resulting in practices only collecting 83% of what they’re owed. Through our software, we unify the end-to-end RCM processes into a single, powerful view to enable practices the ability to identify opportunities for financial and operational improvement.

At Adonis, we offer multiple solutions to assist medical providers in navigating the complexities of healthcare billing and receipt of payment for service. Billing and insurance related activities represent nearly $1 in every $7 collected by medical providers - and the high costs of collecting payments, as well as and other costs that stem from the administrative challenges within the space, unfortunately get passed down to the consumer. This is why healthcare costs continue to rise, with no end to that in sight. We’re set on helping to mitigate these challenges.While we are building a medical billing engine that automates billing workflows and improves reimbursement rates for medical providers, we at Adonis feel that there is always an aspect of healthcare billing that requires a human touch.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead RCM service delivery, ensuring consistent and effective delivery of billing services for Adonis clients
    1. Build, maintain and improve relationships with the current customer base and ensure clients are satisfied with their RCM services
    2. Develop innovative ways to improve service delivery, creating efficiencies that keep strong customer outcomes as the top priority
    3. Identify trends in customer needs and support your team in the expansion of Adonis services within each account
    4. Manage and forge relationships with BPOs and delivery partners to augment current delivery models
    5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and HIPAA privacy and security regulations as well as with terms of customer contracts
  2. Lead RCM team to optimize productivity and output
    1. Responsible for the direct oversight of 5-7 Medical Billing Managers and approximately 20 indirect staff who report to the Managers. These responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
    2. Plan, implement, evaluate, and administer all RCM strategies and processes, including claims submission, payment posting, denial management, accounts receivable collections, and reporting
    3. Track and refine RCM and client KPIs including client temperature, SLAs, and more
    4. Assist team in the analysis of client billing performance and support team in providing internal/external recommendations to ensure clients are on track to meet their goals
    5. Monitor, respond to, and communicate changes in billing requirements, regulations, and reimbursement rates

Qualifications

  1. Known for your ability to scale operations and organizations to ensure best-in-class results
  2. Self-starter with a background in revenue cycle management; additional experience in project management or process/operations is preferred
  3. Executive presence and comfort interfacing directly with senior client stakeholders
  4. Strong communication skills with the ability to project manage and facilitate group meetings
  5. Passionate about solving problems, and are creative in your approach to achieve best-in-class outcomes
  6. Comfortable wearing many hats and doing whatever it takes to get the job done
  7. Demonstrated portfolio project management experience with the ability to envision process improvements and guide them to execution
  8. Enjoy working cross-functionally to learn about the entire product suite and partnering with colleagues to drive improvements in both customer experience and the efficiency of operations
  9. A leader dedicated to providing support and opportunity to their direct and indirect reports

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 yr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
