We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead our Home Medical Equipment (HME) and Home Infusion sales team. You will be responsible for building, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team while collaborating and leading cross-functional workstreams to ensure success of critical initiatives (e.g., forecasting, product feedback, contracting, enablement, etc.). In this role, you are expected to be a selfless leader and ensure that you are supporting your team to achieve their goals. At the heart of the HME/Infusion sales team at Trella, you will collaborate closely with various Go-To-Market team members to provide direction for a successful sales process while identifying opportunities for continued improvement and providing the VP Sales with appropriate information to optimize the overall growth strategy for Trella.

Location: Atlanta HQ; Remote

Reports to: VP, Sales

As the Director of Sales at Trella, you will:

  • Oversee multiple territories and sales team members to ensure achievement of quarterly and annual quota goals, win rates, and pipeline goals within the HME/Infusion Market
  • Drive a high-performing sales team that consistently meets or exceeds based on consultative and strategic selling within a Software as a Service (SaaS) sales process by sourcing deals, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and driving deals to close
  • Partner with Enablement with designing, implementing, and maintaining onboarding and continuous professional development plans for new and existing team members
  • Oversee multiple opportunities through multiple stages of the sales cycle, this includes coaching and directing team members, and managing individual opportunities.
  • Establish forecasts for the HME/Infusion market and assist sales team with account penetration plans.
  • Ensure all individual and sales team administrative tasks and duties are completed in a timely manner
    • Document weekly activity via Salesforce
    • Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly reports
    • Update pipeline reports ensuring dates, contract value and revenue allocation is accurate
  • Build an in-depth understanding of Trella Health’s solutions and services along with the evolving needs of the market and competitive landscape to convey the value propositions unique to the prospects’ challenges and goals

This job might be a fit for you if you have:

  • BA/BS or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with a successful track record of selling B2B SaaS-based solutions to new customers, preferable within the healthcare IT industry
  • 2+ years’ experience in successful sales management, preferable within the healthcare IT industry
  • Demonstrated success in developing, motivating, and managing sales teams to optimal performance
  • Proven hands-on sales process experience such as prospecting leads, discovery and demonstration meetings, negotiations/closing, forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue, and exceeding quota objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and with customer/prospect c-suite stakeholders to engage and facilitate across multiple stakeholders to accomplish team goals
  • Confident, assertive, results driven, strong organizational skills and self-starter
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • A strong sense of accountability to help drive productivity and revenue goals for the team and the company
  • Prior experience in a growth start-up environment is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel 30% of the year
