Director, Sales Enablement

The Director of Sales Enablement will be responsible and accountable for the development and execution of Billtrust’s global comprehensive sales training programs. Training programs prepare the sales and marketing teams to effectively engage with customers and educate on the benefits of products. Serves as an integral member of the Sales Ops team and partners with senior leadership, Sales, Marketing, and internal SME partners, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and supporting execution. The Director will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence and innovation. You will be expected to provide purpose, direction and motivation to a team of project managers and will have ultimate responsibility for the quality and execution of their project plans.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with company goals and sales objectives.
  • Training and Development: Design and oversee training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team, including onboarding new hires and ongoing professional development.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess the effectiveness of enablement initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create and maintain sales materials, including presentations, product sheets, and competitive analysis.
  • Sales Tools Management: Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that improve productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and support for the sales team.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from the sales team to continuously improve enablement programs and resources.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor the sales enablement team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement programs.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies.

The expected base salary range for this position is $168,000.00 - $220,400.00 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
