Reporting to and partnering closely with our Sr. Director of Total Rewards, HR Systems & Services, and our Chief People Officer, will help lead the design and implementation of innovative and scalable compensation and benefits programs that enable the attraction and engagement of talent. This role is detail-oriented, is highly analytical, and will thrive by enhancing our overall benefit offerings. This position requires the ability to think strategically, but can also "roll up your sleeves" and execute tactically.

Projects you may be working on in this position include:

  • Total Rewards strategy
  • Annual compensation review
  • Cash Incentive and equity compensation programs
  • Benefits and perks programs

Where you can make an impact:

  • You effectively attract and retain a high-performing team; optimizing time, talent and resources to meet the performance expectations of the People Team, while making sure employees are challenged and clear on the opportunity for impact within the organization
  • Maintain, build, and communicate the Company’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, recognition, short and long-term incentives, and other reward programs in a geographically dispersed and mostly remote workforce
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure Total Rewards programs are competitive with industry practices and local regulations
  • Administer a broad range of Total Rewards programs, such as salary structures, incentive plans, recognition programs, equity compensation, and executive compensation
  • Collaborate with People Team leadership and business leaders to review and recommend updates to Total Rewards programs and policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Lead the annual compensation review process, including benchmarking, budgeting, and pay equity analysis and recommendations
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and delivering competitive and cost-effective benefit offerings
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to total rewards, and recommend adjustments to our programs as needed
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and expertise
  • Analyze and interpret compensation and benefits data, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with coordination of analysis and review of executive compensation programs and assist with preparation of Board materials and public disclosures such as the proxy statement, step into the board presentations on comp committee and/or learn to grow into that role
  • Partner cross-functionally on ad hoc compliance and strategic projects as needed

  • Adaptable: Flexibly adjusts total rewards strategies in response to changing business needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements

Your experience:

  • 14+years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, particularly within technology companies, ideally 5+ years of experience in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of global compensation practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends. A demonstrated ability to design and administer equity programs.
  • Strong understanding of innovative compensation design principles and practices, including experience with incentive programs and equity-based compensation.
  • A proven track record in designing and executing successful total rewards strategies that drive organizational success.
  • A demonstrated capacity to translate strategy into tangible actions, adeptly manage multiple priorities, streamline operations, and foster constructive relationships, consistently achieving impactful results.
  • Excellent people management skills, a high bar for talent, and an active approach to employee development and engagement.
  • Technical acumen working with HRIS, Performance Management, and Compensation tools.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; an ability to communicate complex ideas in clear and easy-to-understand language.
  • Strong leadership acumen, capable of engaging diverse audiences, mobilizing teams, and driving projects forward leveraging strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in GSuite tools, notably, Sheets, Docs, Slides, facilitating effective communication and data-driven decision-making.

Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The pay range for this role is$160,000—$288,000 USD
