  • Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Develop and execute the technical roadmap for machine learning projects, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in machine learning to inform the company's technical strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for machine learning model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of machine learning systems.
  • Play a key role in recruiting and building a high-performing machine learning engineering team.
  • Participate in the hiring process, conducting interviews and evaluating potential candidates.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through research contributions, publications, and engagements in industry forums.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 3-5 years in Machine Learning
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of machine learning engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain hands-on technical contributions while managing a team.
  • Strong coding and debugging skills in machine learning-related technologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, make informed decisions, and drive solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
