Summary:

We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution and delivery of software development projects by acting as a crucial link between our Engineering teams and various stakeholders. This role is instrumental in converting business needs into detailed project plans and fostering clear and effective communication across teams. Working alongside Engineering Managers, you will manage project timelines and deliverables to drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary liaison between Engineering teams and other departments, including Product, Data Science, and Business Development, to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and integrated into comprehensive project plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers to facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, aligning them with the company’s strategic goals and timelines.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables, in collaboration with Product and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments to schedules and resources as needed to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation for all assigned projects, including project plans, schedules, and status updates for stakeholders.
  • Becoming expert in our business & data domains to understand the structure and relationships that makes up the foundation of our services and audience products.
  • Motivating team members to deliver high-quality products and meet timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology field, e.g. computer science, engineering, technology management or a business degree with equivalent technology experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management within a software development or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and reading API documentation.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing stakeholder expectations and promoting teamwork.
  • A solid understanding of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to apply them appropriately according to the project and business context.
