Title: European Channel Manager

Base Salary: €85,000 - €95,000

Location: UK / France / Germany

Job Type: Permanent | Full Time

Work Structure: Remote (with up to 50% travel)

Now, we’re looking for a European Channel Manager to help us continue to deliver on our promise and play a critical role supporting our International Sales Director. The purpose of the role

The European Channel Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the distribution network in the European Channel.

Key Responsibilities and duties:

  • Selecting and managing distribution partners
  • Evaluating their performance
  • Ensuring that products or services reach end customers efficiently and cost-effectively executing the sales strategy for the area.

The role will involve expanding and optimising our distribution network, driving revenue growth, and building strong customer and Key Opinion Leader relationships.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, specifically Distribution Channels, experience in the medical equipment sector, and a deep understanding of the distributors in the markets they manage.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • 2 + years B2B sales experience, specifically working with distribution channels.
  • Previous experience within the medical equipment sector OR Previous breast cancer surgical sales is preferred however not a strict requirement.
  • Previous Line Management skills preferred however not a strict requirement.
  • Product or Procedural knowledge required.
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Language Skills - good written and verbal command of English (Native or Bilingual, this is non-negotiable)
  • Excellent numeric skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • High self-motivation.

Abilities and Skills

  • Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory (UK and Europe) to meet frequently with distributors/customers and other decision makers.
  • Work with the International Sales Director to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the European Channel, aligning with Endomag´s overall goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners. Negotiate contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure that partners are aligned with Endomag´s objectives.
  • Meet or exceed the sales targets set by Endomag Management by working independently in assigned territory to present and sell products and services to distribution channels.
  • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the product range of the Breast Cancer environment and a sound understanding of the associated medical discipline.
  • Support & provide (on occasions) proficient technical training and support to sales and medical personnel on the use of Endomag´s medical devices as required. (This will be the primary objective of the Clinical Application Specialist but may on occasions require support from the European Channel manager).
  • Territory budget management for local in field events and sample stock.
  • Develop and maintain an annual business plan which includes but is not limited to the following: Anticipated sales increases, Risk management , Sales opportunities, Anticipated competitive activity, Contingency plans.
  • Follow-through on distributor/customer requests and commitments.
  • Monitor and increase market share and competitor activity in the assigned channel.
  • Participate in local and international exhibitions and meetings as requested.
  • Identify, establish and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision-makers
  • Work closely and effectively with the other members of the sales team and with Endomag support functions in order to provide the best possible service to the distribution channel, customers and the patients.
  • Seek and evaluate new product ideas, providing adequate information and facilitate ongoing communication. Assist in product evaluations and/or clinical studies as appropriate.
  • Understand and follow Endomag quality policies and procedures with respect to Complaint Handling, Product Returns, Samples, Consignment Stock and any other areas as appropriate.
